I think there are a lot of climax in this novel. To pick the highest point, I think it is when John got mad. It is when John tries to stop the distribution of the Soma to Delta. John is from the Savage Reservation, where soma is not provided. Soma is a medicine that people eat whenever they feel depressed. In other word, you can call it "drug". People eat this too often, they get addicted to it, until they can't live without it. People in New World always use this drugs. But John doesn't get fit into that culture which makes him get mad. He gets sent to the island with Bernard. This event makes me feel very mad. I hate the New World people's culture. To say it in word, I think it's very rigid and solid. If I was in John's situation, I would do same thing as him. I would not be able to stand and do something crazy, to criticize the world. John threw the soma rations out of the windows, and I would do the same thing. I am really afraid that our future might turn out like this.
